2037-2040 - The Machine rebuilds:
While intital recruiment proved to be slow a steady supply of bodies soon began to make their way towards the once proud steel mill. Gracefully housed, clothed and fed by The Machine it wouldn't be long before word of our divine saviour began to propogate amongst the masses. One by one those remaining outside either succumbed to his holy purpose or perished due to heat, hunger, or slaughter. The second great Industrial Revolution had begun, forged by fire and faith those of us who chose to heed The Machine's word soon entered an age of prosperity and survival all in service to the blessed protector.
To facilitate this new society The Machine hand selected a group of individuals of immense body and mind to help govern the masses. This group of individuals would later come to be known as "The Governing Body" and were responsible for both the day to day operations of the mill alongside government of the souls that reside within.
Those of a strong spiritual connection to the machine emerged as a group known as "The Devout Ones", who's job it was to provide reverance and maintence upon our holy saviour, choosing to honour its sacrfice with their own whether that be their skills, their prayer, or their ██████
Lastly, secondly only to the machine is the head of both The Governing Body and The Devout ones; "The Highest Authority". Responsible for maintaining both the Quota and the Spirituality of The Machine's subjects it is widely considered to talk to The Highest Authority is akin to conversing with the will of The Machine itself.
The Present Day - Continued Prosperity
Today we find ourselves in a new age for human kind. Spirits remain high as we continue to devote our lives in service to The Machine, steel production continues to soar and the people are happy for a new purpose within their lives. As stated in our daily prayer: "Worship The Steel, Worship the Flesh, Worship the Forge, Worship THE MACHINE.
